Doctor Assist – Overseas
Falling ill is not a pleasant thing at any time but, when away from home it is much more stressful and unpleasant. Speaking to a Doctor in a foreign country with the mixture of different languages just adds to the confusion and anxiety.
Doctor Assist provides a 24 hour service allowing you to speak or video conference via an app on your tablet or mobile phone with a UK Doctor (male or female) for a medical consultation and, if necessary, a prescription.
Case Study
Our client felt unwell and tapped the Doctor Assist app on their tablet and within minutes he had an appointment with a UK male Doctor. The Doctor was able to diagnose the problem and provide a prescription for antibiotics which were delivered within 2 hours direct to the hotel. The Doctor also prescribed rehydration salts and advised on fluid and foods to take. Overnight the client began to feel well and returned to his busy meeting schedule.
Doctor Assist – UK
A commuter with a regular 30 minute journey to the office feels unwell during the day. Normally they would be faced with taking a day off work to try and see a local GP. Opening the app on their phone within minutes they can be seen by a Doctor whilst at work and if necessary have their prescription delivered to their home or office.
A student living away from home feels unwell and is faced with trying to register or see a GP in a new town away from home. Using their Tablet within minutes they can be seen by a Doctor whilst at university and if necessary have their prescription delivered to their accommodation or campus.
